About Emma

With a wealth of contacts and experience forged from over 20 years working at a senior level in the media industry,  Emma knows how to work sensitively and enthusiastically with clients to ensure their brands get the right kind of profile on the right media platforms.

Emma discovered her passion for writing aged 10, reporting for a children’s newspaper called The Early Times. After that, there was no stopping her.

She landed her first job at the Daily Mirror, as a graduate trainee. In later years at the newspaper group, she progressed from Sunday Mirror TV Editor and columnist to Head Of Features for the Sunday Mirror and The People.

In 2017, she became a finalist for Showbiz Reporter Of the Year at the prestigious Society of Editors’ Press Awards.

During her career she has secured countless front page exclusives and interviewed everyone from media mogul Simon Cowell to London Bridge terror attack hero Steve Gallant.

She’s also been a Press Awards judge, run multiple newspaper campaigns, covered everything from Oscars week in Los Angeles to X Factor judge’s houses, and managed numerous columnists.

Her love for travel has led to work abroad. In Dubai, she ran a high-end, weekly women’s magazine. In Australia, she worked as a news journalist for the Daily Telegraph, writing for a finance column and then landing her own travel column series.

She also worked as field producer for Channel 7 News, interviewing everyone from former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball, to former Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, Christine Nixon.

Her empathetic approach, and Psychology background, mean she’s often the “go to” journalist for chats that need

handling with sensitivity and compassion.

After years pitching to newspaper Editors and running high profile campaigns, she’s as much at ease helping consumer brands build a top-notch media profile, as she is working in TV publicity and marketing to promote some of the biggest shows in the world.
